Ceetrus Portugal, the owner and manager of the Alegro Alfragide Shopping Center, is a finalist at the Solal Marketing Awards 2019, organized by the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), in the “Emerging Technology” category.

Known as the shopping centres’ Oscars, the competition, awards the best achievements in the global retail industry. Alegro Alfragide is nominated for its QR Code payment solution, developed in partnership with SIBS, the Portuguese interbank network. It became the first retail space in Portugal to offer consumers the possibility to pay with their phones by using the MB WAY app to scan a QR code displayed at the POS. Simple and easy.
